I’ve owed soul-theori some freedom fries draws for, well, probably a couple of years now. So. Consider this the first of a few to come, mate. Sorry for the wait. I don’t really know why they’re making those oohgurl faces tbh. We’ll just pretend spoo is whispering filthy things in sal’s ear. Or making a
gossipy comment about sniper’s new hat. yes
Anonymous said: YEAH! Hyper-intelligent tentacle beasts of the deep! Do you have a favorite kind of octopus?
Yes—the Mimic Octopus! Aside from being squishy and adorable, they’re also intelligent to the point where they are able to mimic the behaviors of other predators in the sea. For example:
Sea Snake ((Its body and other limbs are buried))
And a stingray.
And if they get caught, they’ll just run away. They are sea-dwelling cats.
My box of these guys arrived today, and I’m super impressed with them. The sculpts are really adorable, and the paint jobs are pretty much flawless.
Some of the figures came with a lot more stuff than I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise: Scout’s dog tags are an actual necklace instead of sculpted onto the figure, the Spies come with photos from Meet the Spy, and Blu Spy has a binder of intel.
The joints on these guys are pretty tight. I wasn’t sure if they were meant to move until I opened a Soldier with loose joints. So, while getting my figures’ joints unstuck, I discovered an Easter egg with the Engies x3.
To my delight, I got two of the mystery figures. I’m not sure how rare they are (the golden Engie appears to be pretty rare since there’s one on eBay at nearly $200). No sentry guns in this box, though.
Anyway, I definitely recommend getting some of these. They’re a little pricey at $10 each, but the quality and cuteness is worth it(especially for Pyro).
